Writing Support, Pacific Community (SPC) Strategic Plan 2021+

It was a pleasure to work with SPC’s Strategic Planning and Learning (SPL) Team to provide writing support for the newly adopted SPC Strategic Plan 2021+.

The plan is a historic one, being the first to be co-developed directly with members, staff and stakeholders, including women and young people, and the first to incorporate Pacific indigenous languages through the values that will guide the organisation.

I learned a lot from working with the SPL Team and appreciated the various robust debates and consultations that took place to engage with stakeholders, articulate their priorities and ensure accountability for implementing the Strategic Plan 2021+.

Providing writing and editing support to ensure the Plan’s content, tone and structure reflected the values, priorities and aspirations of the Pacific Community and its stakeholders was a privilege I remain grateful for.
