Regional Ambassador, UNICEF Pacific (2011-2013)

It was a tremendous honour to serve as Regional Ambassador for UNICEF Pacific from 2011 to 2013.

The role involved highlighting issues facing Pacific children and young people:

• UNICEF report shows importance of employment of youth

• Pacific youths call to be included in decision-making

• Youths matter now: Nailatikau

Prior to this, I had worked as an Intern in the UNICEF Pacific Child Protection Unit in 2008 and learned so much during my time there.

It was a privilege to have been a part of the great work UNICEF Pacific does.
