Virtual Early Career Ocean Professional Day is a 24-hour live event around the world on June 1-2, for Early Career Ocean Professionals to discuss their roles and ocean-related contributions to the UN Ocean Decade.

I had the tremendously enjoyable privilege of moderating a session during this event, highlighting Stewards of the Blue Pacific: Pacific Early Career Ocean Professionals.

Thousands of viewers from across the globe had the opportunity to hear the brilliant perspectives of Kushaal Raj of Fiji, Lysa Wini of the Solomon Islands, Nicole Yamase of the Federated States of Micronesia, and Fiafia Rex of Niue.

Sincere thanks to Dr Katy Soapi, Coordinator of the Pacific Community Centre for Ocean Science, who organised and brought us all together.
